A message from the founder
What started as my personal journey to get better at running became a mission to create something more: a brand that represents women, champions community and makes every runner feel seen.

At the heart of OUT Running is a community that welcomes everyone, no matter where you’re starting from or where you’re headed. I am currently designing apparel for women but I've a long way to go. My ideas are slowly coming to life, and with the help of you all through my social channels, I'm able to create something that I know you will love - something that is built to with you, for you.
I am obsessed with quality and function and will not settle for anything less than high performing products that you want to reach for time and again.

When I think about my vision for the business it sits in 3 main buckets:
- High quality womens apparel created with sustainable processes at it's core
- safe running spaces for women
- children's running apparel

It isn't about mass production, hype or to sell as much as I can with the biggest margin possible. Small batch production, made in the UK, using high quality fabrics that last, is my ultimate goal. In an ideal world, I'd love for garments to be able to be sent back and re-sewn should they need it.
I also see a big gap with the current market that doesn't address how our bodies change when we exercise, some of us gain muscle, some of us lose weight but regardless it often means changing our gear because it not longer serves us.
I'd like to take your kit back; fix it up, and sell it on again. Creating a little eco-system where the kit can continue to work hard for our environment and for our bodies. I have such big dreams and aspirations for the business that may not fit the traditional business model - but what is life without doing things a little differently?

I also have aspirations that go beyond apparel - I want to create safe spaces for women to run and bring those communities together in person. This might actually be the easier of the two things!
I recognise my influence as a role model to my two daughters. They want to do what I'm doing (which includes a lot of running!) and they need some high performing workout gear too; it's my view that childrens running apparel is really under served.

My hope for OUT Running is more than a brand. It’s an inclusive movement that supports women through all stages of their lives.
And I'm so glad you’re OUT Running with me.
